Community Guidelines

Last updated June 16, 2026

dosomtin only works when it feels safe and welcoming. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from everyone and how to look out for yourself and others — both online and when you meet up in person.

They are a plain-language companion to our Terms of Use. If something here is unclear or you need help, contact us at kbitzermail@gmail.com.

Be real and be kind

dosomtin is for turning shared interests into real plans with real people. Treat others the way you would in person. Harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying, and discrimination have no place here.

Be honest about who you are. Do not impersonate other people, misrepresent your age, or create accounts to deceive others.

Zero tolerance for harmful content

There is zero tolerance for content that is illegal, sexually explicit, violent, or that sexualizes or endangers a minor. This content is removed and the responsible accounts are permanently banned.

When we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law. If you ever see something like this, report it immediately using the "Illegal or child safety" reason.

Meeting people safely

dosomtin helps you make plans, but we do not vet or supervise users or events. When meeting someone new, meet in a public place, in daylight when you can, and stay where there are other people.

Tell a friend where you are going and who you are meeting, and consider sharing your live location with someone you trust. Arrange your own transportation so you can leave whenever you want.

Trust your instincts. If a person or situation feels off, you do not owe anyone your time — leave, and block and report them if needed.

Keep early conversations on dosomtin. Be cautious about sharing your home address, financial details, or other sensitive information, and never send money to someone you have not met.

Respect other people

Do not share other people’s private information, and do not post photos of others without their consent. Do not use anyone’s information you find on dosomtin for any purpose outside the app.

Get consent before tagging or inviting people into plans that share their location or identity more widely than they would expect.

Reporting and blocking

You can block any user from their profile — blocking immediately stops them from interacting with or seeing you. You can report any post, comment, or profile by long-pressing it and choosing Report.

Reports are reviewed, and reports involving illegal content or child safety are prioritized ahead of everything else.

When the rules are broken

Depending on severity, we may remove content, limit a feature, suspend an account, or permanently ban a user. We work to review and act on reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior promptly.

These guidelines work alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Using dosomtin means agreeing to all three.
